The activity centre is an extremely versatile facility. It has a large open plan main room, which is suited to almost any purpose.
It can be used for activities, meetings, training, presentations, film nights, dinner parties, indoor camp-fires….the list is endless !
The building is equipped with tables, chairs and a large whiteboard, along with projector/electric screen, DVD player and wall-mounted connections for laptops and other AV devices. The building also benefits from a surround sound system, again with external connectivity, supported by two permanently installed disco lights, ideal for a simple party night.
The front entrance of the building has a ramp for wheelchair access.
Please note that for residential use the activity centre is a single main hall sleeping space only, there are no internal toilets or kitchen – the toilet block is approx 30 metres away.
It is therefore primarily useful for accommodation only as additional capacity when booking another hut or as emergency accommodation.
Free Wifi is available within and around all of the buildings at Bushy Wood.
